Thefts from Vehicles within the Allt-Yr-Yn Area

Thank you for taking the local priority survey recently, your ongoing feedback about local issues of concern is vital in order to enable us to target resources effectively. Although you did not raise Vehicle Crime - theft from / theft of as a concern in your last feedback, this issue has been raised by other members of your local area so we thought you would also like to receive this update.

🔔Vehicle Theft from – Community Safety Notice 🔔
Following several recent Thefts from Vehicles reported in the area, we are reminding residents of the importance of taking simple steps to secure their Vehicles.
Officers are conducting enquiries, and increased patrols will be carried out as part of our ongoing work to deter and detect crime. In the meantime, we encourage all vehicle owners to consider the following crime‑prevention measures:
• Ensure Vehicles are locked and windows wound up when left unattended, even for short periods.
• Keep all valuables out of sight, or better still do not store them in your Vehicle.
• If the vehicle is parked outside or on your property, consider installing security devices such as alarms, CCTV, or motion‑activated lighting.
• Report suspicious behaviour immediately to police via the appropriate channels.
